The maths
Hours back in the week.
Forget the per-seat price for a moment. The number that matters is the time between a barrister speaking and a clerk dispatching the finished document.

FAQ
Pricing questions
- Is there really a free trial?
- Yes. 14 days, no credit card. You can run a real week of practice work through it — fee notes, briefs, attendance notes, the lot.
- How much is 10 hours of dictation, really?
- More than the busiest barrister or senior clerk uses. 10 hours of dictation at natural speaking pace yields well over 100 documents — fee notes, briefs, attendance notes, and correspondence.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Month-to-month. Cancel from settings. No exit fees, no clawback. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
- Do you offer practice-wide pricing?
- For practices or firms with three or more users, we'll set up a single workspace and a single bill. Email hello@clerkand.com and we'll be back to you the same working day.
- Why isn't there a free tier?
- Because we want you to actually use the product. A free tier with limits would mean you'd test it on the easy stuff. The trial lets you run it on a real week of work — that's the only fair benchmark.
- Where is my data stored?
- Dublin (Ireland) for application, database, and files. Stockholm (Sweden) for AI transcription and formatting. Frankfurt (Germany) for opt-in analytics. No US infrastructure. Standard Contractual Clauses where needed.
